Southwest Windpower has teamed with Grundfos International to create the SQ Flex wind/solar hybrid electric water pumping system. Rather than being dependent on the traditional mechanical windmill only, SQ Flex uses both wind and solar energy so it can provide water at any time.
Whether you’re considering a replacement for your old mechanical system or you’re installing a new system, you’ll appreciate the proven reliability of this water pumping system.
SQ Flex System Components:
200 Wind Turbine from Southwest Windpower – High-voltage DC output powers the SQ Flex pump at maximum efficiency. Startup wind speed of only 7 miles an hour and peak output of 900 watts make our 200 Turbine an excellent choice in a wide variety of locations. It can be used in combination with the GF43 Solar Module.
GF43 Solar Module – Specifically designed to power the SQ Flex system, the GF43 produces a high DC voltage of 140 VDC, which reduces energy loss through cables and provides peak efficiency. Each GF43 can produce up to 43 watts of peak power and is designed to be connected with additional modules to optimize your SQ Flex system to your location and water requirements.
Grundfos Water Pumps – The complete SQ Flex pump range consists of seven pump sizes: four centrifugal pumps and three helical rotor pumps. Each is fitted with the same size motor to simplify system sizing.
